Why choose the AC tent
Desert afternoons warm up quickly from March, and by April the tent needs cooling to be comfortable for an afternoon rest or a full night. The Royal AC Swiss Tent is the same tent as our Royal Swiss Tent with air-conditioning added.
It is also the safer choice for babies, older parents and anyone who sleeps badly in heat, whatever the month.
Comfort details
A carved double bed, block-printed canvas walls, air-conditioning plus a ceiling fan, charging points, an electric kettle and a seating corner. The attached bathroom is a built stone room with a western toilet.
Best months
From March to June and again in September and October, the AC tent is our main recommendation. In mid-winter many guests are comfortable in the non-AC tent and save the difference.
Pair it with
A sunset camel ride, dinner on the dunes or an early sunrise safari. If you arrive by train or flight, add an airport or station pickup and the drive to Sam in the same booking.
